Osprey at the REC ! – Fantastic and well supported screening of "Up" by the good people of Far Cotton on 15 February. We had a great time and so did the 76 children and 43 adults who came along. Looking forward to the next one.

Online shop – our new shop will also be launched this month, and in addition to buying Matt and Jane’s new CD, you will be able to buy prints of work by Paul Dexter, Emily Keen and Jane Roberts. We are hoping to make DVD’s of various films and art works available.

Dissent CD – Matt and Jane’s new CD “Dissent” will be available from this site by the end of January.  Hoorah!   Check out the “Dissent” page as well as Matt and Jane’s own individual pages.  Jan 2010

Web site revamp – as you can see (or not if you haven’t been here before) our web site is being updated.  Feedback appreciated.  Jan 2010

Make It Group and the Film Lab – We have lots of positive discussions with both groups about film screenings.  We (Make It Group, the Film Lab and KR Collective) will be putting a proposal to the Fishmarket about screenings and film nights starting in Spring 2010 (it's too cold before then!)  Dec 2009

Osprey Cinema – regular screenings now taking place at the REC in Far Cotton. Based around school holidays the screenings are for families and are proving really popular.  Thanks to Georgie and Lesley at Southern Quarter, also thanks to Go-Getters and the Local History Group for all your support and input.  Dec 2009

Emily’s “The Sole Project” – Emily’s short reminiscence film is being shown for the whole month of August at the Northampton Museum and Art Gallery, Guildhall Road, Northampton. At the request of various groups, the film is also being shown as an additional item at different Osprey Cinema screenings. The film centres around interviews of retired people, and we wish to thank everybody for their involvement.

Osprey Cinema - our own occasional cinema experience was launched with film nights at the Fishmarkey Gallery Green Scene weekend on 25 and 26 July 2009.  Brilliant nights at the Fishmarket.  The screenings centred around Faythe Levine's film "Handmade Nation" about the new craft movement in USA plus several showings of Film Lab compilations. the Film Lab is led by Russell Heyworth and the screenings are made up of short films made by Northamptonshire filmmakers, including our own Emily.  Its been great collaborating with both Film Lab and the traders and artists at the Fishmarket.  Aug 2009

Paul Dexter - we are delighted to say that Paul has joined the Collective and his page will be up very shortly.  Paul, like Emily and Jane, works primarily using video.  We have been friends with Paul for many years and its great to have his creative input involved with KRCollective. Check back soon to find out more about Paul and view his work.
