The Osprey Cinema is a strand of KRCollective that focuses on bringing film to local community groups in Northampton and we where proud to launch our mobile cinema in early 2009,  

Whether you’re a group of bell-ringers, after-school clubbers, allotment growers to mums & tots – we don’t mind, we just want to bring film to local community groups.  We’ll work with you to provide a cinema experience to suit you, so you can watch a pre-ordered film of your choice in your neighbourhood.  

We are normally based at the Rec Centre in Far Cotton, but mobile means we can come to a community room near you! In addition to bringing ‘Hollywood’ films to screen, we also tour with a small collection of Northamptonshire social history films too.  So if local history is of interest, we can set up our mobile cinema system to sample some footage of our town. 

LATEST UPDATE  

KRCollective have been successful with a grant from Awards for All to deliver workshops and screenings concerning relationships and conversations between families.  We will be using new media technology and offering workshops to local families. Branching out into sessions where people can get hands on and creative is an area we are really excited about. More news about that to follow!
